You may be aware that Enfield Council are bidding for part of the Mayor of London’s offer of £100 million across 3-4 Outer London Boroughs.
They presented their plans to Stakeholders last week and following that we have been given copies of their initial plans so that we can present them to Cyclists in Enfield generally. Enfield Council are looking for constructive criticism of their plans to enable them to improve them based on input from cyclists. To this end we are having a public meeting on the 23rd November at 10am at the Jubilee Hall, Parsonage Lane, Enfield and will be showing the current plans. If you can please do attend as this is your chance to influence Enfield Council’s plans.
If anyone has a projector and screen that they would be happy to let us use for this meeting then please inform me – we don’t have one ourselves unfortunately.
As you may be aware 5 people have been killed cycling in London in the last 9 days. Our thoughts go out to all the families of those who have lost their lives and anything we can do in Enfield to prevent the same sort of tragedies happening in our Borough has to be a good thing.
If you do intend to attend, or hope to then could you reply to this so that we know the number of people who will be attending.
