Have you been out in the Lea Valley lately? I can’t really recommend the tow paths on weekends as they get too busy, but if you venture North a bit further into the Lea Valley Park, just beyond the M25, there is pleny of space and beatiful views to be had!

Enfield Council is seeking residents’ comments about some plans to make Haselbury Neighbourhood in Edmonton better for walking, cycling and living. Easy Riders – June ride to the Lea Valley
Our June ride will go from Edmonton Green to Marksfield Park in the Lee Valley – there will also be a feeder ride from Palmers Green. It will be maximum 1 hour each way (or 1.5 including the feeder ride) on a flat mostly traffic-free route, with a decent cafe break in Marksfield Park.
For Palmers Green, meet at 1.15pm on the Triangle (Green Lanes/Aldermans Hill junction).
For Edmonton Green, meet at 2 pm at the railway arches on Belvedere Road near the junction with Fore Street, opposite Asda car park.
