Easy Riders to Trent Park – September 29th

Our September ride will go from Oakwood tube station to Trent Park in Cockfosters – there will also be a feeder ride from Green Lanes in Winchmore Hill. It will be maximum 1 hour for the round from/to Oakwood tube station, plus a good break at the cafe in Trent Park. The feeder ride from Green Lanes will be around 1 hour each way on a slightly hilly, mostly traffic-free route.

For Green Lanes, meet at 1.00pm at the bus stop in front of Sainsbury’s in Winchmore Hill

For Oakwood tube station, meet outside the station under the giant tube sign.

Enfield Council is seeking residents’ comments about some plans to make Haselbury Neighbourhood in Edmonton better for walking, cycling and living. You can see the plans in detail here and give your views – the closing date is this Sunday, 1 July. This is just ‘early engagement’ and there will be a full consultation later. Continue reading

Easy Riders – June ride to the Lea Valley

Our June ride will go from Edmonton Green to Marksfield Park in the Lee Valley – there will also be a feeder ride from Palmers Green. It will be maximum 1 hour each way (or 1.5 including the feeder ride) on a flat mostly traffic-free route, with a decent cafe break in Marksfield Park.

For Palmers Green, meet at 1.15pm on the Triangle (Green Lanes/Aldermans Hill junction).

For Edmonton Green, meet at 2 pm at the railway arches on Belvedere Road near the junction with Fore Street, opposite Asda car park.
